The year is 2035! Technology has given us flying cars, helped us off with the climate crisis and secured us eternal life.
Of course we do not know if the future is going to be THAT crazy, men one thing is for sure: In 2035 technology is everywhere, it is all around you and it will offer you help whenever you need it!
Are you depressed? - Fix it with a brain implant!
Have you lost a beloved pet? - Recreate it with cloning.
Technologies that we have only just heard of today are fully available in 2035. Just choose whatever you need.
But would you do it and go through with it? Are you aware how these techonolgies work and whether it is the right decision for you to use them? Which consequences will follow? Have you considered everything?
The exhibition Future Human - How far will you go? takes you to the future in the year 2035 and zooms in on six new technologies that will influence your everyday life and your relationship to yourself and other people.
Experiment with technology yourself – and try out cloning, brain implants, cosmetic surgery and deep fake video.
Make your own opinion on the ethical dilemmas that technology creates and express your opinion in tech stories that you can create on the huge interactive mobile screens in the exhibition.
Actually, those technologies that you meet in the exhibition, we already have today. But during the next ten years they will be developed even further. And in the year 2035 – in this exhibition – they are all available to you. YOU decide whether to use them and how.
The only question is: How far will you go?
Are you ready for the future?
The exhibition is developed by Experimentarium in Copenhagen, but you can now experience this at Museum of Natural History in Aarhus. Thank you for funding: Spar Nord Fonden, Knud Højgaards Fond, Novo Nordisk Fonden and Lundbeck Fonden.
